State of Our Business RSVP

Join us on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the U.S. Borax Visitor Center, located on the top of the largest open pit mine in California to hear about the latest developments at Rio Tinto U.S. Borax.

While visiting, you will be able to:

  • Meet our senior leaders
  • Learn about our latest innovations and projects
  • Understand the importance of mining to modern living
  • Visit the bottom of the mine—and take a borates sample home

As you will be visiting an active mining site, please be sure to wear appropriate clothing: Jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, and steel-toed boots. If you do not have boots, wear closed-toe shoes to the event and be sure to notate your size on this form. We will provide boots for you.

Choose from three different mine tour start times. Total time is approximately 3 hours (including lunch).

Attendance at this event, by a public official, may require acceptance of a reportable gift.
