Specialist, Industrial Hygiene
Robyn specializes in protecting the health and safety of workers within the industrial setting.
Originally from Australia, Robyn started her career in environmental sciences with a focus on how large-scale mining and construction projects interact and work within the environmental guidelines. When she transitioned full into mining, she also changed her career path to industrial hygiene. Her role is to protect the health and safety of workers within the industrial setting through anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and recommending solutions to risks. She has now been with Rio Tinto for five years, moving to
Boron Operations two years ago.

Robyn is the peer support coordinator of our Peer Support Team, a volunteer-based team that provides employees across California Operations with mental health resources and support.
